The Suburban Geek website is presently, exclusively written and edited by me, Andrew Goulding. It contains my opinions, thoughts and ideas and is being used to promote and sell my designs (which are being marketed as t-shirt designs and affiliated merchandise). As stated in our About Us page, these have been created through collaborations with numerous artists from around the world.
Suburban Geek may – at times – link directly to products outside of this site e.g. Books or Music on Amazon etc. These will be direct links and will not be earning us any commissions. We do not intend to have any affiliate, commission-earning links on this site.
In time, we fully intend to advertise our products on Google’s (and others’) advertising networks but we presently have no intention of housing third party ads on our site. However, we may bend that rule, if e.g. one of our music videos went “viral” (more than 10,000 plays). In that case we’ll probably place advertising upon that particular video but not others.
NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control, Google may actually be placing ads on some of our Youtube videos. This would be occurring because producers of Music or Sound Effects that we’ve used in our videos, are temporarily given the rights to monetize some of the “plays” of Suburban Geek’s video, until our license for use of that Music or Sound Effect has been verified.
